Getting Started
So, you've created your account on Zetapets and aren't sure what to do first?
Well, here is a basic beginners guide through Sentrion to get you started
Creating a Pet
The obvious first
step to Zetapets is creating a pet. After all, it is a virtual pets site. You
have two options when choosing a pet. You can either create
a pet or
adopt one from the Golden Valley. If you can handle not being able to pick
your new pets name, I'd recommend giving an abandoned pet a good home. You can
always change its colour with a Water Distiller so its original colour isn't a
concern.
If you decide to create a pet, you'll be given a customisation screen by which
to choose your new pets name, gender, colour, and give a brief description of. A
preview of your pet is also shown.
After you're happy with your pets name and appearance, click the next button
located under your pet to be taken to a short survey page. By answering each
question you are determining your pets starter abilities in strength, agility,
intelligence, defence and magic.
Activating Your Pet
To activate your pet simply go to your
pets page and
click on it. This is now your active pet and should appear beside "pet" on
the top, right-hand menu of the page.
Settings
You can adjust site settings to suit your preferences by clicking on the
settings
link at the bottom of the menu. This will take you to your user information page
where you can change your profile layout, information, avatar, profile word,
layout colour and right-click menu option.
Profile: This is where you can type a little about yourself. HTML is
allowed.
Avatar: Pick an avatar that suits you best from this list.
Profile Word: A small banner that will appear under your profile.
Layout Colour: Pick the layout colour you'd like to view Zetapets in.
Right-Click Menu: Sick of that menu that keeps popping up every time you
right click? Then click the "off" button to get rid of it.
Check for Updates
If there is a small link near the top of the page that says 'update' on your
page that means the news section on Zetapets has been updated. It is always
handy to read this section since it informs you about any new pets,
competitions, etc that are going on.
Making ZetaPoints
First thing's first. Create a
shop by going
to 'shops' on the menu then 'my shop'. This is where most people make their ZP
from. Buy from the
main shops at lower prices than what is offered on the
Shop Scouter
and sell them in your shop at a higher price than which you bought them for.
Games are a good source of ZP. You will make around 2,000ZP a day by playing
three games, Keno, Random ZP and Sealed!
Referrals are
easily the best way of gaining ZP and rare items if you have the know how.
There's 88,800ZP to be made, plus an array of rare and unbuyable items to be
obtained through referrals.
Remember to collect your
bank interest daily
and deposit any ZP made in case of any shady character random events that may
occur.
Explore Sentrion
Click 'explore' from the main menu to take a look around. The four lands you can
explore are: Zetalopolis, Emestar, Nirvana and T'enelm. More about these lands
can be found here.
Forums
The Zetapets forums are a great way to interact with other members, ask
questions, advertise, share ideas and trade. Posting also boosts your forum
rank.
And don't worry, Zetapets is a friendly community :)
Swap Centre
To get to the
swap centre, click 'inventory' or 'shops' from the main menu then 'swap
centre'.
The swap centre is a good way to trade items with others. Just be sure to check
the shop scouter before accepting any offers or making an offer yourself. Never
trust anyone who says they'll give you the items after you accept their offer
that isn't worth what you're trading. They're trying to scam you.
Home: Takes you to the main swap centre page.
Create Stand: Lets you create a trade.
My Stands: Your current trades.
My Offers: Offers you've currently made.
Log: List of recent transactions.
And that's a basic introduction to Zetapets. There are more features and things
to do I'm sure you'll explore. Have fun! An
official starter
guide is also available at Zetapets.
